On-the-fly editing of classes in Grails

I’m experimenting with Grails. My humble aim is to shorten the round-trip time between changes to classes and when the change is visible to the end user.

So, I roughly follow Scott Davies Mastering Grails tutorial. To me, a powerful example of what I want to achieve is with his compact
